Strengthening trust, transparency, and long-term care for retired working dogs.

A Milestone Rooted in Trust and Good Governance

We're proud to share an important milestone for Hound Haven: we have been re-accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) for another three years.

This renewal affirms the systems, values, and standards we have intentionally built over time. It reflects our ongoing commitment to good governance, sound financial stewardship, transparency, and accountability — principles that guide every decision we make as an organization.

One of Only Two in Animal Welfare

Hound Haven remains one of only two animal welfare organizations in the Philippines to receive PCNC accreditation. This distinction is not something we take lightly. It represents a high level of public trust and reinforces our responsibility to uphold the highest standards in how we operate, manage resources, and serve our beneficiaries.

Why This Matters

PCNC reaccreditation enables us to continue focusing on what matters most:

  • Providing consistent, dignified care for retired working dogs and rescued animals.
  • Ensuring long-term sustainability for programs that protect dogs beyond their years of service.
  • Advocating for a future where animal welfare organizations are held to — and supported by — rigorous standards.

At its core, this milestone strengthens our ability to plan for the long term and deliver care that honors the service and loyalty of the dogs we exist to protect.

With Gratitude to Our Community

To our donors, partners, volunteers, and supporters, thank you for holding us to a high standard and for standing with us every step of the way. This achievement belongs to our entire community.

Together, we'll keep building a future where more dogs are safe, cared for, and celebrated.

Here's to more impact, more accountability, and more tails wagging. 🐾

Thank you.
