Hound Haven joins the Philippine Army in celebration of their K-9 Battalion's 14th founding anniversary. The event was held at the Philippine Army base camp in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
K-9 Bn Commanding Officer Ltc. Charles Castillo, Philippine Army Group Commander Ltc. Marlo Guloy, and Guest of Honor Col. Leopoldo Imbang Jr. award the top performing K-9s of the past year.
Part of the celebration was the opening of their new K-9 training grounds and a K-9 training demonstration.
Our very own Hound Haven Co-Founder, Chelsea Pecson, helps out in the training demonstration by hiding a bullet for Aspin K-9 Tracker, Rey, to find.
Philippine Army's first batch of retired military working dogs are scheduled for turnover in March 2017 at Hound Haven's K-9 retirement and rehabilitation facility in Angat, Bulacan.
