Kathy is former Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) turned over to Hound Haven by the PNP Aviation Security Group. Although she is a senior dog, she is super active and loves getting all the attention. She can move like a much younger do so would definitely thrive with an active family.
King must not have had an ideal life. As far as anyone knew, he was a street dog before being taken in by a village community and subsequently trained to accompany security personnel in their nightly rounds. His right front paw and right eye are deformed, whether at birth or more likely as a result of an accident, giving him an oddly regal stance. This is why we decided to shorten his name from Ba'King to the more appropriate King.
As a former village patrol dog trained to keep strangers from entering the premises, Buknoy had an unexpected habit of fence-jumping. It took a few weeks for him to get used to his place in Hound Haven, but once he settled in, he was much happier, and stopped trying to escape. He is active and fun-loving, and loves running around the grounds. He will run around all day if we let him.
With his black and tan coat, one can think that Lagalag has a bit of rothweiler in him. However, this shy boy is aspin through and through. His personality ranges from animated to mellow, depending on how well he knows you. He takes a while to get used to new surroundings but will be calm once acclimated.
Robin is a sweet and energetic yellow labrador who can’t get enough ball play. He responds to his name, and can sit and stay on command. He loves to play with other dogs and humans alike. Robin will make an ideal addition to a family in need of a furry friend.
Shea is a playful chocolate labrador, well-trained and ball-driven. She gets along with everyone and loves to chase tennis balls. She will make a wonderful pet to an active family with a lot of available space to contain Shea’s energy.
Blocky is a shy black aspin. She takes a while to get used to new people, but once she gets comfortable, she can be very sweet. She is energetic and requires a lot of space to run around. She is low-maintenance and can be easy to take care of, as long as she gets to play outside.
Brownie is a beautiful brown aspin. She is active and gets along with other dogs. She can be anxious when around strangers, but she will eventually relax and get comfortable – you just need to be patient with her. She needs space to run around, but is otherwise low-maintenance.
