Like his name, Shadow can be a little mysterious at first. He is cautious with whoever is approaching but will welcome pets and rubs once he gets the chance to warm up to you. He is a pretty big K-9 and is best for single dog households with experienced dog handlers.

If Sora is any indication of her puppies’ temperament then it’s no surprise Narda and Darna are just as playful! Being younger dogs, they prefer running around the center to play with the other K-9s. Narda and Darna are a package deal and would love to be adopted together. They are perfect for families with active, on-the-go lifestyles.

Sora was one of five rescues from the San Jose Del Monte Pound. When the Hound Haven team took her in in late 2020, she was a new mom nursing two puppies only a few months old. She immediately grabbed the team’s attention due to her sweet demeanor (despite very harsh conditions at the pound). Having been rehabilitated at the center, she is now extremely playful and would run around the grounds all day if she had the chance to!
It is said that charity begins at home. This is probably why our handlers took it upon themselves to rescue an abandoned puppy left just outside our premises. Initially meant to be their housepet, it soon became clear that placing Roro under our rescue program would be a much better way to take care of him. Even so, Roro has become more of a farm dog, running with a pack that includes dogs from the adjacent farm. He still gets regular medical care from our vet, but he enjoys his freedom and is happy with his pack.
Noby is an active and highly-driven dog – as Dutch Shepherds are known to be. A bit younger than the other K-9s in the center, he is looking for an experienced pet owner that can give him the perfect balance of E-D-A, Exercise Discipline and Affection. He is known to be selective when it comes to other dogs, so he is recommended for a single-dog household.
Resulting to the amputation of his right forelimb, Lotto was injured in the line of duty -- during training for the recently concluded ASEAN Summit. He's still a bit shy, but with love and affection, a loving new home with a highly experienced dog owner would surely give him a confidence boost.

Maja is slightly smaller than a regular BM, but her smaller size has never held her back. She is a top notch K9, and has been used in numerous K9 obedience demonstrations. She is an active K9 and will be happy with an active family. She has a distinctive bald spot on her rump due to alopecia.
